Carla has been training and competing in agility for the last eight years. She and her beloved dog Sophie have won many titles, proudly listing among these accomplishments the Master Agility Championship, or “MACH 2” title. Carla and Sophie have qualified for the AKC National Agility Championships 3 years in a row.

Carla has a deep love for and dedication to the sport of agility, and now training at Dogs On The Run, she looks forward to working with beginners to build foundations for training practice, and increase the owner’s confidence while having fun with their dog.

Alex is a third-generation breeder, owner, and handler. She started showing dogs when she was just 5 years old. She has been working for handlers since she was 16, and at the age of 19, she went to go work for Laura King and Robin Novack where she has spent 13 years working for and learning from them. She learned how to condition dogs and develop and enhance the handler-dog relationship. She learned how to train show dogs to keep them interested in showing weekend after weekend.

Alex loves to help people learn how to get the most out of their dogs in the show ring.

Sharon has been training English Springer Spaniels since 1986. She began training in the hunting field and soon navigated to the show ring in early 2014 where she finished her first champion.

Sharon has done some training in Barn Hunt and Dock diving but soon fell in love with Agility. She has trained and competed with 7 dogs each earning multiple titles. Sharon takes her love of training the foundational skills for Agility to Dogs On The Run, and looks forward to this exciting adventure helping teams learn, gain confidence, and love this sport.
